Why did the dragon come to Japan?
In the special “Goblet of Fire” exhibition currently being held at Studio Tour Tokyo, a new model of the dragon that confronted Harry in the fourth film, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” is on display. The model has been newly modeled from the mold of the original model used in the production of the movie, and visitors will be able to see its lively and dynamic appearance as if it were guarding the golden egg displayed at its feet, just as it was in the movie. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” the dragon will be visiting Japan after touring the United Kingdom.
What kind of draw?
Each person who signs up for the Studio Tour Tokyo newsletter or identifies himself/herself as an existing member will be entered into a drawing at one of the “Dragon Appearances” events at several locations in Japan.
Is Dragon safe?
Yes, the dragon is safe. The dragon sometimes moves slightly and has roaring sound effects, but it does not attack people.
What is the “Goblet of Fire” special?
The “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” film series will open at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – Making of Harry Potter, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world’s favorite films, “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. This is the first museum-wide, limited-time special program since its opening to commemorate the 20th anniversary.
