Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – the Making of Harry Potter, will undergo a special makeover, ‘Hogwarts in the Snow’ to showcase the festive season.
Hogwarts in the Snow, a popular event in Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, showcases Harry’s Christmas experience as they first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The same exhibit will be shown for the first time in Japan.
With Hogwarts in the Snow, the Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will be decorated in festive Christmas splendour, recreating the Christmas scene from the first film in the Harry Potter series. Eight 5 metre tall Christmas trees will be decked with ornaments crafted using the same techniques as in the original films. At the head of the Great Hall, a 6 metre tall tree will tower over the long dining tables, adorned with traditional British Christmas fare.
Head of Props, Pierre Bohanna, and his team share behind-the-scenes stories of how they brought Christmas magic to the Great Hall.
The 1:24 scale model of Hogwarts Castle will be beautifully covered in snow, with delicate flakes painstakingly applied by hand, just as during the making of the films. Experience the enchanting texture of the snow up close.
The entrance lobby and exterior of the Studio Tour Tokyo will be illuminated with festive Christmas lights. Exclusive seasonal merchandise will also be available. Enjoy a magical experience this winter, surrounded by the enchantments of Christmas.
