Create Your Very Own Magic Wand

Tuesday, July 14 – Friday, August 28

Wand Workshop Image

Kick off your tour by crafting your very own magic wand with your own hands! Paint craft materials in your chosen colors and select your decorations — using your imagination to create a one-of-a-kind wand that belongs only to you.

What kind of wand you end up with is entirely up to you. Chatting with your child about “what color should we use?” as you work together makes for a wonderful family memory to start the tour.

As you explore the tour with your finished wand in hand, you’ll naturally find yourself drawn to the shapes and differences of the “real wands” on display, deepening your understanding of and immersion in the world of the films.

※ This workshop is an experience program for elementary, middle, and high school students. A parent or guardian must accompany and assist elementary school participants.

※ Advance reservations are required for this workshop; however, walk-in participation may be available depending on availability on the day.

※ Tour entry will be available 30 minutes after your reserved workshop time (e.g., if you book the 9:30 workshop, you will join the 10:00 tour).

The experience of creating something makes the tour even more enjoyable.

What kind of wand it becomes depends on the maker. This workshop is recommended as an entry point to the Studio Tour experience, whether you are visiting for the first time or looking to further immerse yourself in the world of the films.

At the end of the workshop, we will introduce ways to enjoy the Studio Tour and take photos, after which you will be guided directly into the tour.
